ESCUTCHEON recorded their first demo in august 1998 called "Into Orbit". After the release of "Into Orbit" (sold over ... copies) the band gave a lot of performances and everything went well, until the band underwent a drastic change in the line up. At the end of 2000 ESCUTCHEON started with three new members. They wrote some new material and after a year it resulted in the killer 1st full length album "Unexplained Deep Space Phenomenon!" (contains 8 tracks of melodic Swedish death metal including a cover from DISSECTION - "The Nights Blood..." as a bonus-track). After the release of "UDSP" on ... 2001 (self published) ESCUTCHEON started to hit the stage again successfully and accomplished two small European tours. After that, all went quiet all round the band...

In januari 2007 ESCUTCHEON decided to make a second beginning! More to come...
