Meridians are a Brussels-based pop rock trio founded in early 2010 by three young musicians, ex-members of former bands « The Ignition » and « The Shevhers ». Primarily influenced by British rock groups, the three lads delivered their first show in February 2010. Whilst the band's concert schedule keeps increasing, they win jury prize at the Lasemo Festival contest show. Thus, Meridians are given a chance to play at renowned Lasemo Festival and Gaume Jazz Festival. Furthermore, they are invited to TVLUX's television show « RDV chez nous », delivering an acoustic show. In September, Meridians participate in « Concours-Circuit » playoffs at Le Botanique, making it to the semi-finals thanks to the jury. A first demo CD is recorded in the course of events. Withal, the band keeps delivering shows regularly all around Belgium, notably at the Massif Festival contest show, earning public prize. Their hit song « Where do you go » is selected to represent the video retrospective of well-known daily paper La Libre Belgique. Early 2011, Meridians keep multiplying the shows and notably win the Pure Demo radio contest, giving them a chance to be aired on Pure FM for a whole week. To be continued…
